Chattanooga State Community College offers degrees and certificates to pave the way for manufacturing careers. A CAD technology certificate can be earned in 18 credit hours. Welding automated manufacturing and other options are part of the college’s associate degree programs.

Within Chattanooga State is the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Learn high-demand skills through hands-on training programs. Most individuals are prepared for a job in one year. Earn industrial maintenance certification or diplomas in other areas, such as automotive technology or industrial electronics.

Learn firsthand on the front lines at Chattanooga’s Volkswagen Academy. The Robotronics Technology Expert program at Chattanooga State trains students for careers as a Volkswagen skilled team member, automation technician or manufacturing/industrial maintenance engineer. The Academy is part of the two-year pursuit of an associate degree.

Train remotely for a trades job with the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Study for technician, maintenance, environmental and construction jobs at your own pace.
